Hi Ferdie,

This is Ferdinand Opulencia, son of Francisco “Kikoy” Opulencia and Juanita ” Annie” Opulencia. I found out this site thru my batch after the reunion. I am glad that you create this site for us to update and refresh the memory of our hometown. I am here in Canada and surfing this site helps us to overcome the homesickness in our hometown.  I inform some of our kababayan here regarding this site and everybody was thrilled. We appreciate your effort in gathering all the datas and picture.

” Continue the good works “. We are expecting the next reunion for us to attend and celebrate.  Mabuhay Rizalians!!!!! Mabuhay baga! Ah Ah ang ganda!!!

My greetings and thanks to our teacher that I remember.Mam Helen Urriquia,Mam Encabo,Mam Gamido,Mam Mel Sumague,Sir Alex Simundac and Ms. Simundak,Mam Doria,Mam Valenzuela.sir Paul  I apologize that some teacher is not mention, I really can’t remember their name at this moment.

Hi Ferdie,

It’s Reyson Royo here from “the land down under”… called Australia.  I’ve been here for more than six years now with my loving wife and 2 children.

I am proud to say that I am truly Rizalian.  Let me tell you why.  I was born and raised in our beautiful and peaceful town of Rizal by my parents Rosaida Austral Royo and Reynaldo Sanchez Royo both Rizalian as well. I attended kinder at Rizal Day Care Center (Pauli 2),  attended RES from 1980-1986, then attended the old RCHS from 1986-1990.  Furthermore, I became the first SK Chairman of Pauli 2 from 1992-1996.  So, missing to attend the Grand Reunion of RES is quite unfortunate.  However, I felt really close to home when I saw your webpage full of photos during the reunion plus messages from ka-Rizalian living overseas and Rizal’s history.

Well, I’m not sure if you know me but I’m pretty sure that we’ve met a lot of times especially during my term as SK Chairman.  By the way, congratulations municipal councilor ka na pala.  This project of yours is really great.  Good on you, mate!

I attached some of our photos just in case you’re interested.

Anyway, I like the batangrizal t-shirt.  I will definitely buy one when I get there… soon

Also please extend our “pagbati” to all our kababayans.  Mabuhay ang Bayan ng Rizal Laguna!

Hi  Ferdie,

I was lucky enough to be there during the reunion.
I was born in our beautiful town, but I did not attend RES. My family moved to Manila (after WWII) when I was just a toddler. I only spent time in Rizal during holidays and summer vacations. You can probably guess how old I am. I am a very good friend of your Auntie Aning and your Auntie Sally here in California. (I read you are Fule’s son)
I was touched by the success of the reunion. It made me feel that I also am an alumni. Anyway, I like you to publish the picture that I took during the parade. All your pictures showed the younger generation. This lady, I think, is even related to you.

Good luck with this website. I enjoyed reading it.
