26th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree

Theme: “SCOUTS: Creating a Better World”

At the heart of Mount  Makiling is the Philippine Scouting Center for Asia-Pacific Region. The camp which sits on the slope a thousand feet above sea level, has an area of 57.7 hectares. Thousands of Scouts and their leaders from 26 countries converge for the much anticipated 26th Asia-Pacific Regional Scouting Jamboree for a seven-day of fun, adventure and learning while breaking the barriers of religion, creed and ideologies. The event would be the third time to be held in the country, which hosted the first and 12th Asia Pacific Jamboree in 1973 and 1991. With the theme “Creating a Better World” the event will be participated by 14,000 Scouts from 26 countries in the Asia Pacific of which Rizal, Laguna (Rizal Elementary School graders) has 21 delegates that form the BSP Rizal District Contingent assisted by three faculty staffs namely Sir Yurie Vista and Ma’am Medelyn Visey and Sir Mario Monserrat headed by Hon. Ferdinand O. Sumague BSP Rizal District Chairman.
